After a career in languages, BBC radio and publishing, and a stint managing a church cafe, I studied Fine Art at City of Bath College 2007 – 2009. I have since combined painting with pastoral work and teaching English to refugees.

 

I work mainly in oils in a figurative style,  and enjoy painting portraiture, cityscape and still life. A theme of Christian allegory runs through some of the still life work.  More recent work includes a  triptych of the Holy Trinity, commissioned by Yellowstone Theological Institute, Montana, USA, and a series of paintings in conjunction with The Psalms Project music albums written by Steven and Clem Faux. In collaboration with installation artist, Anne Egan, my exhibition of portraits of refugees toured venues around the country to raise awareness and funds.

Besides exhibitions, I give workshops and talks about my work, and also undertake commissions.
 
I live in Bath with my husband, Steven, a TV composer and Anglican minister.
